Brian McCréight is the storyteller-in-residence and a children’s librarian for the Charleston County Public Library on James Island, as well as the official storyteller for the Scottish Society of Charleston, the South Carolina Tartan Fest, and First Night Charleston. He has a degree in Pseudology, and like Lowcountry Jack, he’s done his share of trading occupations.
